Because of the high demand for Engaged Encounter weekends, and because our ministry is to serve the San Francisco Catholic community, we give registration preference to couples who are referred by a priest within the Archdiocese of San Francisco.

To assist you in your marriage preparation, we provide brochures to all local parishes with complete registration instructions. The Registration information provided here is offered to give you another alternative to Register. If you are not sure which Diocese you belong to, please refer to the orientation map. If you are not able to register through a local parish for whatever reason, please contact our information couple to find out how you might join us for a weekend.

If you found our website through our brochure, please follow the registration instructions on the brochure. For convenience, you may print and send in our registration form (PLEASE NOTE: This is not an on-line registration). If you found us by another route, please contact your priest or local parish for complete information on marriage preparation.

Weekends are filled on a first come first served basis. Because of the high demand, weekends fill quickly, and we are sometimes unable to accommodate all the couples in our Diocese who wish to attend. Please choose at least one alternative weekend when you send in your registration. If you've checked our weekend dates, and are unable to find an open weekend, please let us know (recruiting @sfcee.org) so we can keep track of demand and schedule the appropriate number of weekends in the future. You may also check the surrounding Engaged Encounter communities for weekend availability.

Weekends cost $450 per couple for 2008, (by check, VISA or Master Card) which includes meals and lodging. The amount must be prepaid when the application is mailed. Mailing instructions are provided in the Engaged Encounter brochure available through your local parish. If payment is by Credit Card, you may FAX your completed Registration Form to 650.372.0222. (Sending a FAX does not automatically guarantee your placement on a given weekend).
